(一) 申请人资格

1. 会员或其子女。

2. 成为会员已满一年者。 

3. 已缴清会员月捐者( 永久会员不在此例 )。 

4. 来自受承认之学校/学府，且修读全日制课程者。

(二) 奖学金申请办法

1. 请上网阅读本馆奖学金申请的细则，网址为：www.foongshoon.org 

2. 请用 “申请表格”申请奖学金或亲往本馆驻办处索取。 

3. 请将填妥的表格及有关证件 (上一年度的成绩)寄交本馆。 

4. 申请截止日期：每年10月31日。

(三) 证件/资料不完整的申请书将不受审理。

(四) 审委会有权取消不诚实或伪造证件的申请者的奖学金，并不接受他往后的申请。

(五) 如有必要，审委会将向申请者索取正本成绩单参阅。

(六) 携外国学校成绩的申请者，除非有注明分数、等级等，审委会有权酌情考虑及决定申请者的入格与否？

(七) 审委会不接受私立学校的学生成绩。

(八) 同乡子弟在学术界有杰出表现者或在运动、艺术、竟技等其他领域对国家社会有特别贡献的在籍学生，审委会将考虑颁发 “特别奖金”。

不过，他们必须提出书面申请并附上有关证件。

(九) 审委会有权修改或增删有关奖学金申请的条规。

(I) Eligibility

Applicants must 

1. be members or children of members. 

2. have obtained membership for at least one year. 

3. have paid up membership subscription. (life members not included). 

4. have excellent results and acceptable by the committee. 

5. be students of recognised schools / institutions and pursuing full-time curriculum.

(II) Method of Scholarship Application

1. For details of scholarship application, please refer to our website www.foongshoon.org 

2. Please use the standard Application Form herein. The form is also available at the association. 

3. Please submit your application form with all items completed, and attached with the relevant results (last year’s results) to the association. 

4. Closing date for submission: 31 October of each year.

(III) The committee will not consider incomplete applications.

(IV) The committee reserves the right to revoke the scholarship award and to bar future applications of any applicant who had submitted falsified or inaccurate academic results.

(V) The committee may request for the original results from the applicant, if necessary.

(VI) The committee reserves the right to decide the eligibility of applications related to overseas institutions. The marks and grades of such applications must be clearly stated.

(VII) The committee will not accept applications of students from private institutions.

(VIII) Students who have outstanding results in other fields than academic performance, such as in sports, and skills competitions, etc., or have made great contributions to the country, can apply for the “Special Award”. Applications for this award must be made officially in writing.

(IX) The committee reserves the right to revise, add or delete the rules, regulations and conditions of the scholarship.

(1) 大学组

甲等--总平均分数八十分及以上。

乙等--总平均分数七十分及以上。

(2) 学院组/高中/初级学院组

甲等--总平均分数八十分及以上。

乙等--总平均分数七十分及以上。

(3) 中学组

甲等--总平均分数八十二分及以上。

乙等--总平均分数七十七分及以上。

(4) 小学组

(A) 高年级 ( 四五六年级 )

甲等--总平均分数八十五分及以上。

乙等--总平均分数八十分及以上。

(B) 低年级 ( 一二三年级 )

甲等--总平均分数九十分及以上。

乙等--总平均分数八十五分及以上。

注：若所呈交的成绩是以 GRADE ( 如 A、B、C 等 )计算，除非附有换算指标，本审委会将以本馆所定的标准换算。

(1) University Level

Grade A – (total grade 80 marks or above)

Grade B – (total grade 70 marks or above)

(2) College Level (polytechnic, junior college and pre-university)

Grade A – (total grade 80 marks or above)

Grade B – (total grade 70 marks or above)

(3) Secondary School Level

Grade A – (total grade 82 marks or above)

Grade B – (total grade 77 marks or above)

(4) Primary School Level

(i)Upper Primary(Primary 4-6)

Grade A – (total grade 85 marks or above)

Grade B – (total grade 80 marks or above)

(ii)Lower Primary(Primary 1-3)

Grade A – (total grade 90 marks or above)

Grade B – (total grade 85 marks or above)

NOTE: If alphabet grades (e.g. A, A-, B+ etc.) are not expressed or stated as their numerical equivalents on the result slips, the committee will apply its own conversion standards for such grades.
